2004 Graduated from the University of Sydney with first class honours.
2005-2007 Worked in small animal practice, in Melbourne, then Canberra with proud father Dr John Aspley Davis
2007-2008 Internship at the University of Sydney. Completed a Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Clinical Sciences with research on hyperthyroidism and retroviruses
2008 - 2011 Residency: SASH Sydney, as their first Small Animal Medicine Resident. She published papers on Pituitary Apoplexy, Canine Systemic Mycobacteriosis, and Feline Laryngeal Disease, and won awards from the Australian Small Animal Veterinary Association for Best Research Publication and Case Report.
2011 -2016 Moved to UK: Worked as a registrar at Willows Veterinary Referrals (a world leading specialist hospital), Consultant for Veterinary Pathology: AXIOM, performed research and attended clinics at the Royal Veterinary College.
2016 Passed examinations: Fellow of the Australian New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists and became a registered and practising Specialist in Small Animal Medicine.
2016 - current working in NSW and now the ACT as a Small Animal Medicine Specialist
Amy enjoys the challenge of the complexity of internal medicine cases. She particularly enjoys putting the clues together of medical cases - in particular infectious disease, endocrinology and immune mediated / inflammatory diseases. Amy hopes to share her knowledge that she has gained over her lifetime to help sick pets.
